Tha sinn cho toilichte a bhith ag obair còmhla ri sgioba DASG gus stòr-data a leasachadh far am faodar òrain a’ phròiseict a lorg gu furasta. Tha sinn a’ cumail trang na làithean seo a’ cur crìoch air na cliath-dhuilleagan de mheata-dàta air na h-òrain agus iad sin a chur gu DASG airson a dhol dhan stòr-dàta fhèin.

Anns an eadar-àm, bidh sinn a’ cur a-mach cliath-dhuilleige air co-chruinneachadh de dh’òrain a h-uile Dimàirt air Google Sheets a ghabhas cleachdadh leis a h-uile duine. Tha sinn an dòchas gum bi iad feumail dhuibh. Tha sinn fhathast ag obair orra is mar sin, ma chì sibh mearachd sam bith, no ma tha barrachd fiosrachaidh agaibh nach eil againn, nach fàg sibh ‘comment’ anns a’ Ghoogle Sheet?

Bidh sinn ag ùrachadh na duilleige seo le ceanglaichean dha na co-chruinneachaidhean air fhad ‘s a thig iad a-mach…

We are delighted to be working with the team at DASG to develop a database which will enable easy searching of the songs catalogued by the Language in Lyrics Project. This new iteration of the database will be more interactive than the previous prototype and we’re very excited about it! We’re keeping busy these days finishing up the spreadsheets of metadata and sending these to DASG to be included in the database.

In the meantime, we will be releasing one of our completed spreadsheets every Tuesday on Google Sheets where they can be searched and used by everyone. We hope they’re useful to you. We are still making tweaks here and there, so if you see any mistakes, or you have information about the songs that we haven’t included, please leave us a comment on the Google Sheet.

We will be updating the list on this page as we add more indexes to the Google Sheet file…
